Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of vessels, including offshore and research vessels, naval craft, luxury yachts, and small private boats. I have also served as a small-vessel commercial master and managed fleet maintenance operations.
A lifelong sailor, I began racing Hobie Cats in South Africa and have raced internationally, including in Sydney, Halifax, Houston, and Toronto.

My approach is practical, independent, and grounded in a deep respect for boats and the people who use them.
